OUR STORY

IN 2009 BANNETON BAKERY OPENED IT’S VERY FIRST LOCATION ON BALACLAVA STREET IN WOOLLOONGABBA.

Banneton Bakery was established with a view of maintaining age-old principles of producing quality sourdough breads, quality pastries and savouries without compromise. Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that any food should be produced in the most natural way possible. We achieve this by using high quality and wholesome ingredients, without the addition of artificial improvers or additives. Our influences have always been diverse including French, Italian, German and Australian.

At Banneton Bakery we strive to promote an atmosphere of creativity with many of our products being created from staff concepts. Staff members are encouraged and acknowledged with bringing forward new and exciting ideas to further enhance the Banneton Bakery range.

Not a traditionally bakery offering, coffee is now an essential component of the Banneton experience. Our highly trained, young baristas work with our selected blend to give you the best coffee you could expect.

The last and not least essential ingredient at Banneton. Service. We believe that, when visiting us, you should be warmly welcomed and feel that your needs have been fulfilled. The best product would be nothing without the best service.
